Celeste Levis Information
Céleste Lévis is a Canadian singer and songwriter who was born in Timmins, Ontario. She is best known for her appearance on the show “La voix” (The Voice) that aired on the TVA channel. Levis was also part of the Quebec star Éric Lapointe’s team. She was not attached to music during her childhood, but it later made a magical arrival in Levis’s life. It followed some serious health problems, which made her terminate all sports and other physical activity. In those darkest moments, Levis found music as a second life.
Levis participated in Ontario Pop in 2013. It is a real springboard for the next generation of French-speaking music. She was able to win 6 out of 8 prizes, followed by her entry into the Ma Première Place des Arts competition. Levis was able to enter the semi-final of the Festival International de la chanson de Granby in 2015. Soon after such achievements, Levis decided to put her studies at the University of Ottawa on hiatus and pursue her passion for the music industry.
Céleste Levis released her debut album entitled "CÉLESTE", in 2015. Since then, she has been rocking many stages and touring across the nation. She opened for Francis Cabrel’s shows in Quebec in 2016. Her second album was self-produced, named Donne-Moi le temps, in September 2018. It earned four nominations at the 2019 Trille Or Awards Gala. Some of the other nominations earned by Levis are a nomination at the ADISQ Gala for adult-contemporary album of the year and a French-speaking artist at NOMFA.
