BXS Bryndis Information
A regional Mexican band with a cumbia Romantica sound called BXS, sometimes known as Bryndis por Siempre, released their first full-length album in 2011. Guadalupe Guevara sings Juan Guevara plays drums, Alfredo Guevara plays guitar, Juan Ayala plays keyboards, Mario Luis Jimenez plays bass, and Francisco Guevara plays keyboards for the Dallas, Texas-based band (percussion).
Former members of Grupo Bryndis, a romantic cumbia band with a similar sound that was successful in the 1990s and 2000s, are Guadalupe and Juan Guevara. The Guevara brothers chose the name BXS (an acronym for "Bryndis por Siempre") for their new ensemble to capitalize on the success of their previous one. Por Siempre Románticos, their first full-length album as BXS, was released in 2011. The album, released on the Disa label, gave rise to the single "Temporal de Amor."
