Blink-182 had their first big moment in 1995 with the release of Enema of the State. It put them on the map worldwide. Songs like “What’s My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things” became huge hits. Their style mixed fast guitar, catchy melodies, and funny lyrics. That album showed their sound and attitude – bold, playful, and real.
Before that big moment, they started in 1992 in San Diego with singer-bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker, and guitarist-vocalist Tom DeLonge. They played in small clubs and built a loyal fan base in Southern California. Over time, they released albums like Dude Ranch and Blink-182. These records helped them develop their sound and brought them to larger venues. They also faced changes, such as going on hiatus and later bringing Tom back after Matt Skiba filled in. They kept writing songs that mixed emotion with that punk edge. For years, their live shows featured engaging stage bits, crowd interactions, and high-energy vibes.
In 2025, they are touring on their Missionary Impossible Tour. It begins August 28 in Hollywood, Florida, and ends October 5 in Palm Desert, California. The tour features Alkaline Trio as special guests on all dates. They are playing big venues and festivals, including stops at SPAC on September 7 and Sea.Hear.Now, on September?14.
They also headline Riot Fest in Chicago in September and appear at When We Were Young in Las Vegas in October. This year, they are bringing a setlist full of punk classics and new energy. 2025 also saw the release of One More Time… Part 2 in January, accompanied by the band's live support.
