Band of Horses Information
Band of Horses is a rock band from the U.S. that was founded in Seattle, Washington, in 2004. Ben Bridwell, a singer-songwriter, has been with the band through its lineup changes. The current lineup features Barrett on drums, Monroe on keyboards, Gentling on bass, Brett Nash on guitar and backing vocals, and Bridwell as the only constant member.
Tyler Ramsey, the band's guitarist, and Bill Reynolds, the band's bassist, were the most consistent members of the band's lineup for a decade. Reynolds recorded and performed with the band from 2007 until 2017, when he abruptly left the band.
All Things Considered (2006), Cease to Begin (2007), Infinite Arms (2010), Mirage Rock (2012), Why Are You OK (2016), and Things Are Great (2022) are the six studio albums that the band has released thus far. Infinite Arms received a Grammy Award nomination in 2011.
Band of Horses released the lead song "Crutch" and the album details for Things Are Great on October 12, 2021; with the new members, Matt Gentling and Ian MacDougall, this was the band's sixth and first studio album.
With a description that reads "a return to their earlier work and the kind of raw ethos that lies at the heart of Band of Horses," Things Are Great was released in the text on March 4, 2022. MacDougall left the band before the album came out, and Brett Nash took over as lead guitarist in late January 2022.
