The Allman Brothers Band is a famous American band established in 1969. The founding members were Gregg Allman, Duane Allman, and Dickey Betts, together with Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson.
Before Duane's tragic passing in 1971, the band had already recorded two albums. After his death, the Allman Brothers Band released an album called "Eat a Peach" as a tribute to him. It included two of the band's most successful singles, "Melissa" and "Blue Sky."
Under the banner of Allman Family Revival, Devon Allman presented his very first performance, paying homage to his late father, Gregg Allman, in 2017. After adding Dickey Betts's son, Duane Betts, to the band, Allman Betts Family Revival launched a tour intended to pay tribute to the music of earlier decades.
