Alkaline Trio Information
The Alkaline Trio hails from Chicago, Illinois, the U.S., and plays punk rock music. The band comprises guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba, bassist and vocalist Dan Andriano, and drummer Atom Willard. "Sundials" was the debut single released in 1997 by Alkaline Trio, which was formed in late 1996 by Skiba, Rob Doran (bass), and Glenn Porter (drummer). Upon its release, Doran left the band, and Andriano took over as lead singer alongside Skiba as a replacement.
With "Stupid Kid" and "Private Eye" as its backbone, From Here to Infirmary catapulted the band to stardom, and its 2003 follow-up, Good Mourning, did quite well on the Billboard 200. Derek Grant, who had been a drummer for a long time, made his début on the recording of Good Mourning.
On April 2, 2013, the band released their eighth studio album, My Shame Is True. On August 31, 2018, they released their ninth album, "Is This Thing Cursed?" On March 19, 2020, they published a three-track E.P. called E.P. Atom. Willard was named Grant's replacement shortly after he departed from the band in June 2023, following twenty-two years with the group. January 26, 2024, was the release date of their tenth studio album, Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs.
