Alex Nevsky Information
Alexandre Parent (February 17, 1986) is better known by his stage name Alex Nevsky. He is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Granby, Quebec. Nevsky graduated from École Nationale de la chanson in Granby in 2007, and later in 2009, he participated in Festival international de la chanson de Granby (Granby International Song Festival) where he reached the semi-finals. Nevsky also participated in the 14th Francouvertes contest, where he went to the finals. His music is classified as pop.
De lune à l'aube was the debut album by Nevsky, which was released in 2010 via Audiogram. Audiogram is the only label he has worked with his entire career thus far. This debut album earned two nominations at the Gala ADISQ for Best Album of Year: Pop-Rock and Revelation of the Year. Another album by Nevsky, entitled Himalaya mon amour, was released on August 30, 2013, and earned him the Gala de l'ADISQ 2014 for Male Singer of Year. The record also won the award for Best Album of the Year - Pop, with the single "On leur a fait croire" winning the award for "Song of the Year."
Nos Eldorados is another studio album by Nevsky that was released in 2016. He has released a self-titled EP as well. Nevsky was also nominated for the 2014 Prix Félix-Leclerc (Félix Leclerc Prize).
