Adema Information
Adema is an American nu metal band that originated from Bakersfield, California. The current lineup of the band includes Ryan Shuck (lead vocals), Tim Fluckey (lead guitar and backing vocals), Mike Ransom (rhythm guitar), Dave DeRoo (bass and backing vocals), and Kris Kohis (drums). The band released its self-titled album on August 21, 2001, under Arista Record. It reached number 27 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
After moderate success from Adema’s debut album, the group received a spot on the Ozzfest tour’s main stage. The band has also played live with Projekt Revolution, SnoCore Rock, and Music as Weapon tours.
Adema released its debut extended play on November 5, 2002, entitled “Insomniac’s Dream,” released as a gift for their fans. One of the album’s singles named “Immortal” was primarily written for the video game entitled “Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.” The band released its second studio album “Unstable” on August 19, 2003, via Arista Records. The album was also a success for the band as it sold over 400,000 copies around the world.
Adema’s music style has been described as hard rock, alternative metal, post-grunge, alternative rock, and nu-metal. The band released more notable studio albums throughout his career, including Planets, released on April 5, 2005, and “Kill the Headlights” on August 21, 2007.
