The Brooklyn, New York trio Added Color plays alternative rock. The brother's Daniel and Kiko, were raised in the beautiful, turbulent, and violent city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they were exposed at an early age to the stark contrasts between the country's social injustices and its rich rhythmic and musical traditions. They then traveled to Brooklyn, New York, to meet Tim, who inspired them to combine these disparate elements into the jarring, evocative whole that is Added Color.
On October 30, 2021, Added Color dropped their first proper album, "Looking For You." This album showcases the band's versatility, from high-energy riffs to emotive ballads with catchy hooks and choruses; Johann Meyer of Gojira produced it. With three talented vocalists and a rhythm section that borrows from rock, metal, and the band's multicultural roots, this band truly shines.
Added Color has performed in over twenty-five different states, as well as internationally in Morocco (6 times), Canada, and Brazil, where they have shared the stage with Muse, Suicidal Tendencies, and Soulfly at some of the country's largest music festivals. More recently, the band was the main attraction at the L'Boulevard Festival in Morocco.
