Performing hundreds of shows annually for the past twenty years without any major label or mainstream radio support, Adam Ezra and his bandmates—Corinna Smith on fiddle, Alex Martin on drums, and Poche Ponce on bass—built a fan community outside of the traditional music industry.
Their perseverance and determination paid off. The band formed in Boston in the early 2000s and gained fame quickly. Their sound combines elements of folk, rock, soul, and pop.
From intimate house concerts and dive bars to massive headline concerts and tours with artists like Little Big Town, The Wallflowers, Gavin DeGraw, Train, and The Wailers, Ezra, and his bandmates gave it their all at every performance, drawing in fans who believed in more than just the music—they believed in their dedication to social change and activism.
On July 25, 2021, the Adam Ezra Group achieved its 500th live stream show. They are back on the road, performing extensively at indoor and outdoor settings and have played 50 more backyard socially distant concerts. A record-breaking $143,000 was collected for our brave veterans in 2023 at The Ramble, thanks to an unforgettable day of music and camaraderie, an extraordinary volunteer army, and the kindness of an amazing community that extends worldwide.
