A Brothers Revival is an American tribute-paying band that pays tribute to the former band of David Goldflies, a former member of the legendary band The Allman Brothers Band. The tribute band has been energizing the audiences up and down the East coast with their most accurate music presentation. The band members replicated the music the same way as when Goldflies was touring with Dickey, Butch, Greg, and Jaimoe.
A Brother’s Revival members play all fan favorites such as In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Ramblin Man, Melissa, Blue Sky, One Way Out, Soulshine, Southbound, Whipping Post, and Revival. Several The Allman Brothers Band tributes are currently circuiting in the industry, but none have a musical director who toured and recorded with the actual group.
For the vocals, Dickey Betts opted for Mike Kach as his best choice to sing the Gregg vocals in his band named Great Southern. This is why the most authentic recreation of The Allman Brother Band’s music by A Brother’s Revival. The band also introduces Joe Weiss, who is known for taking the audience back to a time with his voice, when melodic vocal and wailing instrumentals by Bett built a legion of Southern Rock fans.
