The Outsiders Information
The Outsiders were a rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, who became famous in 1966 with their hit song “Time Won’t Let Me.” That song climbed to number five on the Billboard charts and sold over a million copies. The group was led by guitarist Tom King, and the lead singer was Sonny Geraci. Their sound, a mix of garage rock, horns, and smooth melodies, made them stand out during the 1960s.
After their first big hit, they released other songs like “Girl in Love,” “Respectable,” and “Help Me Girl.” These tracks also made it into the Top 40. However, as the music world evolved and the band underwent some lineup changes, their fame began to wane. By the end of the 1960s, they had stopped recording as a group. Still, their music lived on, especially “Time Won’t Let Me,” which is still played on classic rock and oldies radio stations today.
In 2025, The Outsiders are back on the road performing live. Jimmy Aschenbener, Rik Storm, and Rob Mitchell now join original member Ricky Biagiola. Together, they bring the band’s classic sound to new audiences. Their shows feature the energy and style that made them popular years ago, allowing fans to relish the music that has become part of rock history.
