Nebraska Cornhuskers Womens Basketball Information

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Division I women's basketball team. They play in the Big Ten Conference. Since its inception as a varsity sport in 1975, the program has amassed fifteen tournament trips, two of which were in the Sweet Sixteen.

Connie Yori, the longest-tenured head coach at Nebraska, coached the Cornhuskers to a record-setting 32-2 record in 2009–10.

Amy Williams, a former Cornhusker, has been the team's coach since 2016. The 2013 multi-use Pinnacle Bank Arena, which cost $181 million to construct, serves as the program's home field.

The arena, which has a stated capacity of 15,500 for basketball games, is located in Lincoln's Haymarket District. Since relocating to Pinnacle Bank Arena, the club has maintained an annual average home attendance ranking in the top 25.

After Yori left, Amy Williams was hired as the head of the Nebraska program. Williams started her head coaching career at NAIA Rogers State, where she built the program from the ground up. She played at NU from 1994 to 1998.
