After the release of his first studio album entitled Water (2010), he became an overnight sensation. He was nominated for a Grammy for best jazz vocal album that year. Later, in 2013 and 2016, he won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album.
More than six studio albums are available throughout his career. Liquid Spirit," which reached No. 5 on the Belgian singles chart, and "Don't Lose Your Steam" are two of his most popular tracks. Najee is arguably best known as a smooth jazz saxophonist and flutist among his many talents. He first appeared on the scene in the middle of the '80s and has since released over a dozen studio albums.
Najee's Theme (1986) reached the top spot on the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, one of several of his albums to chart on Billboard.
