True Loves Information
The True Loves is an American funk and soul band. The current lineup of the group consists of Jimmy James (guitarist), Bryant Moore (bassist), and David McGraw (drummer). The band is currently based in Seattle. They are like smelling the familiar scents of your favorite haunt, ducking under flowerpots, admiring your dark sun-glassed face in their windows, checking in with clerks in their stores, slapping five with friends, and strolling down a favorite neighborhood street.
The True Loves has evolved into a global force that currently comprises percussionist Iván Galvez and four horn players, including trombonists Greg Kramer and Jason Cressey and saxophonists Skerik and Gordon Brown. The group received appreciation in their city and millions of views on YouTube for their live performances.
The True Loves released their debut instrumental album, Famous Last Words, in 2017, to widespread acclaim and won them seats at prestigious festivals such as Sasquatch, Doe Bay, and Upstream. The group released the “Dapper Derp/Kabuki” 45” on WeCoast Records in 2018 and the “Famous Last Words/Mary Pop Poppins” 45” on Colemine Records in 2019. And, while the band has fed audiences around the country since its inception with former singer Grace Love to their present eight-piece configuration, there is still plenty to go around.
