The Union Underground Information
The Union Underground is a nu-metal band founded in 1996 that originated from San Antonio, Texas. The group's current lineup consists of Bryan Scott - vocals, rhythm guitar; Patrick Kennison - lead guitar; John Moyer – bass; and Josh Memelo – drums. The original band members met in junior high school in San Antonio. After completing their school education, the boys began to create their cassettes and founded their recording studio, Studio Underground. The band sold 5,000 copies of an EP that brought significant interest from major labels.
...An Education in Rebellion is the Union Underground's debut album, released on July 18, 2000. It was followed by the song "Across the Nation" in March 2002. The World Wrestling Federation used this track as the theme song for their RAW brand until 2006. On June 25, 2002, the Union Underground released Live...One Nation Underground, a compilation of live performances by the group.
Some of the charting singles by the Union Underground include "Turn Me On Mr. Deadman" 2000, "Killing the Fly" 2001, "Revolution Man" 2001, and "Across the Nation" 2002. Their radio promotion CDs are Live - Club Laga (2000), Revolution Man (2001), and Across the Nation (2002).
