Guns N' Roses is a hard rock band with the current lineup of Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Slash, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese. Appetite for Destruction (1987) was the debut album by Guns N' Roses. It was placed at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 for a year after its initial release. The credit goes to the success of the singles "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," and "Sweet Child o' Mine," the latter of which became the band's only number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
Guns N' Roses announced their upcoming We're F'n' Back Tour in June 2021, during which they traveled across the United States from July to October. The tour's legs in Europe, Latin America, and Oceania were later scheduled to continue into 2022. A single released on August 6, 2021, called "Absurd," was the band's first new music since 2008. The song had its live debut a few days previously at Fenway Park.
Use Your Illusion (Super Deluxe Edition), a remastered deluxe box set of both Illusion albums, was announced on September 20, 2022. It was published on November 11, 2022.
The band made their Glastonbury Festival headlining debut on June 24, 2023. The team members said that technical difficulties led to a bad mix. After the performance was met with mixed reviews, with some outlets labeling it one of the worst headlining sets in festival history, the team members tried to clear the issue. They dropped their new piano-driven single, "Perhaps," on August 18, 2023.
