Tayc Information
Julien Franck Bouadjie Kamgang (May 2, 1996) is a Cameroonian-French singer and songwriter. He is professionally known by his stage name, Tayc born in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. He eventually signed with H24, a label started by Barack Adama of Sexion D'assaut, and began recording his first full-length album. Tayc's self-titled first album was released in February 2019, and it will be reprinted three times in 2019: on June 21, 2019, as Tome II of Nyxia, and again on December 13, 2019, as Tome III of Nyxia.
In 2021, he competed on the eleventh season of the French equivalent of Dancing with the Stars, Danse avec les stars. His dance partner was the accomplished Fauve Hautot. They defeated Bilal Hassani and his companion Jordan Mouillerac in the finals on November 26, 2021, with 56% of the vote.
Half of the couples compete in the first week, and the other half compete in the second week of week 1 and 2. Each judge also had a golden buzzer, and if all four pushed theirs, the couple automatically advanced to the third week.
In week seven, the public writes a note to each pair. They won the first semi-final round, skipping their second routine, and advanced directly to the final. Only the first round is counted toward the final score. The judges picked their favorite routine from the two finalists in the second and third rounds.
