Sunni Colón is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, record producer, filmmaker, and installation artist. He's composed soundtrack features for successful shows and films like Insecure, Dear White People, and HBO's Ballers and collaborated with musicians like Kaytranada and Sebastian, earning him recent praise from the New York Times and Fader.
Colón has been dubbed "your favorite artist's favorite artist" after producing for Mac Miller. Colón rose to prominence quickly in 2013 after releasing his demo single "Temple." In 2016, he released his debut EP Thierry Disko, which Saint Heron praised for its "perfect blend of nostalgic funk, soul, R&B, and rock & roll," and by i-D for its "compelling, contemporary spin on those high-energy 70s funk grooves and psych-rock riffs."
Sunni relocated to Paris to work on his second EP, Satin Psicodelic and started his design and multimedia studio TETSU, which produced his multi-sensory installation series Manifest 1.0 in New York. Sunni aspires to be successful in more ways than just entertaining; he wants to continue building and contributing to cutting-edge infrastructure projects.
