Shenseea Information
Chinsea Linda Lee (October 1, 1996), professionally known as Shenseea, is a Jamaican dancehall singer. Kanye West's "Pure Souls," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021, included her and Roddy Ricch as special guests. At the 64th Grammy Awards, she was nominated for Album of the Year for its parent album, Donda.
Not only did Shenseea host the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, but she also received a nomination for a music video that same year. She performed at the Tropical Takeover Tour in 2023 and the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, along with Sean Paul and Myke Towers.
The same year, her contribution to Fireboy DML's "Diana" earned her an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding International Song. Also, around this time, her previous song, "Pon Mi," went viral on the TikTok app. With the completion of her song "Waistline" at the end of 2023, Shenseea released "Hit and Run" (with Masicka and Di Genius) on January 26, 2024.
