Sarah Thawer, also known by her stage name, Sarah Drums, is a musician born in Canada but currently works and lives in Los Angeles. She began singing and playing drums when she was just two years old and gave her first performance on stage when she was five years old.
Thawer has collaborated with Reggie Watts, Steve Vai, Teyana Taylor, Jacob Collier, Watsky, Jon Batiste, Sheila E., and A.R. Rahman. Jazz icon Herbie Hancock and comedian Bill Burr acknowledged Thawer's talents. Recently, Thawer collaborated with composer Ludwig Goransson on the film Turning Red, which Disney and Pixar will release in 2022.
Thawer is now hard at work on her debut album, which is slated to be released in 2023. Thawer advocates for the uninhibited expression of one's thoughts and strive to challenge oneself creatively and personally.
