Iniabasi Samuel Henshaw (February 22, 1994) is an English record producer, singer, and songwriter. He is professionally known as Samm Henshaw. He was born in London, England. Although Henshaw's family did not play musical instruments, the music they played at home impacted him. Samm picked up musical skills in the church where his father was a pastor. Henshaw attended Cleeve Park School for his secondary education before enrolling at Southampton Solent to earn a degree in popular music performance.
The Sound Experiment, Henshaw's debut EP, was published in 2015 and included production and composition contributions from people like Wayne Hector and Fred Cox. The Sound Experiment 2, Henshaw's second EP, was published in 2016. The promotional singles from The Sound Experiment 2, "Our Love" and "Night Calls," were released by Henshaw as music videos.
Henshaw's debut album Untidy Soul was made available after the singles Still Broke, Grow, and Chicken Wings were published. Henshaw described the album as "a reflection of his own's scatterbrain,'" with each song conveying a distinct story, and critics claimed it was influenced by "rootsy, old-school soul, 90s hip-hop, bluesy jazz, and gospel."
