Restless Heart Information
Restless Heart is a country music band that originated from Nashville, Tennessee, and was founded in 1984. The group plays country-pop and country music. The current lineup of the band includes Larry Stewart – lead vocals, rhythm guitar; John Dittrich – drums, lead and background vocals; Paul Gregg – bass guitar, lead, and background vocals; Dave Innis – piano, keyboards, background vocals; and Greg Jennings - lead guitar, background vocals. The group has undergone many lineup changes.
An early demo recorded by Restless Heart includes "Love in the First Degree," which later turned out to be a hit for Alabama. Their demos were received well, and the band was signed to RCA Records Nashville in 1984. The band released its self-titled debut album on RCA the same year. The album charted four singles on Billboard Hot Country Songs which were, "I Want Everyone to Cry," "(Back to the) Heartbreak Kid," "Let the Heartache Ride," and "Til I Loved You."
Wheels was the second album by Restless Hearts that also produced four consecutive No. 1 hits on the country music charts. Some other notable studio albums by the band are Big Dreams in a Small Town (1988), Fast Movin' Train (1990), The Best of Restless Heart (1991), Big Iron Horses (1992), Matters of the Heart (1994), Greatest Hits (1998), and Still Restless (2004).
