Willy Cruz, a.k.a Redimi2 (June 3, 1979), is a Dominican Christian music songwriter and rapper. In 1999, a group of young people, including his brother JG, started making music. They resolved to form the Redimi2 Squad, of which only Willy would eventually stay. As a result, Willy adopted the moniker Redimi2. He is one of the most well-known Christian rappers in the Dominican Republic and globally.
Redimi2 is also notable for being the first rapper in his country to create a Christian rap album. Christian vocalists Luca Parker, Annette Moreno, Danny Berrios, and Jess Adrián Romero, as well as Puerto Rican rappers Vico C, Alex Zurdo, and Manny Montes, have cooperated with Redimi2. Willy has a daughter named Samantha González and has been married to Daliza Contreras since 2005.
