Pusha T Information
Terrence LeVarr Thornton (May 13, 1977) is an American record executive, Pusha T, and rapper. He was born in New York City. His older brother, No Malice, was the other half of the hip-hop duo Clipse, in which he played a prominent role from 1994 to 2010. Their collaboration as Clipse yielded three studio albums and a slew of mixtapes, as well as the Top 40 hits "Grindin'" and "When the Last Time" (both 2002).
Pusha T joined Kanye West's GOOD Music label in September 2010. GOOD Music is a subsidiary of Def Jam Recordings. In the fall of that same year, he appeared on West's "Runaway," which reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Fear of God, a mixtape he published in 2011, was his first solo effort; in 2013, his debut album, My Name Is My Name, was released. West chose Pusha T to succeed him as president of GOOD Music in November 2015. Until he departed from the label in 2022, Pusha T was a prominent figure in the company's lineup.
King Push - Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude (2015), Daytona (2018), and It's Almost Dry (2022) are the other three solo albums by Pusha T, all of which have been critically acclaimed and the latter of which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
