Polyphia is an American progressive rock band that was founded in 2010 based in Plano, Texas. The band's current lineup consists of bassist Clay Gober, guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage, and drummer Clay Aeschliman. Their music revolves around progressive rock, math rock, instrumental rock, and trap genres.
The sound of Polyphia is renowned for fusing virtuosic guitar parts with different musical genres. At first, YouTube users recognized Polyphia for their renditions of classical music. In total, four studio albums, two EPs, and countless singles have all been released by Polyphia.
Remember That You Will Die was their fourth album, which debuted at number 33 on the Billboard 200 in October 2022. The album was their second to reach the charts. The fourth single from Polyphia's most recent and famous album, Remember That You Will Die, was entitled "Ego Death". It was released in September 2022.
Along with the album, a video was also released, including guitar prodigy Steve Vai. Released on October 28, 2022, Remember That You Will Die features cameos from Sophia Black, Snot, Chino Moreno, Brasstracks, and Vai. The band has announced a 15-day European tour to promote it recently.
