David Bowden (February 14, 1992) is an American R&B recording artist. He is professionally known as Pink Sweats and born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His debut single, "Honesty," debuted on Spotify's US Viral Chart after its July 12, 2018, release and quickly gained traction on streaming platforms, eventually peaking at number 10. A spot on Spotify's "Are & Be" playlist helped propel the song to greater fame. Subsequently, a version incorporating Jessie Reyez was made available. His second single, "No Replacing You," was released on July 26.
On November 2, 2018, the singer released a music video for "Drama" alongside the release of his debut EP Volume 1. His subsequent EP Volume 2 was released after this one. Each extended play (EP) features five tracks; Bowden has said that the decision to create brief songs intended for streaming was deliberate.
Bowden published an extended play (EP) called The Prelude in 2020 instead of his album because of the pandemic. Pink Sweats' first studio album, Pink Planet, came out in February 2021. The album's production started at the tail end of 2019 and lasted almost a year. The album's lead track, "At My Worst," included a Kehlani remix that dropped in January 2021. They performed the song on March 10, 2021, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. May 25, 2022, was Pink Sweats' performance at the 14th Seoul Jazz Festival.
