Marco Anthony Archer (October 11, 1994) is an American rapper. He is professionally known by his stage name Phora. Marco Archer was born in the city of Anaheim in the state of California. Before his music career, Archer worked as a tattoo artist, which proved to be a successful job that helped him support his rap career. Marco was nearly stabbed to death outside of Trident Learning Center, now known as Gilbert High, in Anaheim, California, in 2011.
His record label, Yours Truly, was launched in 2011. Phora signed a big label deal with Warner Bros. Records on February 14, 2017. Phora has written and released eleven albums so far; most of them are about his prior depressive issues. Still, a Kid, One Life to Live, Sincerely Yours, Nights Like These, Angels with Broken Wings, With Love, Heartbreak Hotel, and Yours Truly Forever are among his best-known songs. Love Is Hell, his follow-up to his debut album, was released in 2018.
Phora left Warner Bros. Records in July 2019 and released Bury Me with Dead Roses, a collaborative album with Emmanuel Mendoza Herrero, in August. With Love 2, his fourth studio album, was released on November 6, 2020. “Open Letter,” “Stars in the Sky,” “Cupid’s Curse,” “Traumatized,” and “Loaded Gun” are some of the band’s best-known singles.
