Offset Information
Offset (December 14, 1991) is the stage name of American rapper Kiari Kendrell Cephus. Along with Quavo and his late cousin Takeoff, he became famous as a member of the hip-hop trio Migos. "Without Warning," an album he co-wrote with American producer Metro Boomin and English rapper 21 Savage, debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and produced the single "Ric Flair Drip," which reached a peak of twenty on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was released in 2017. Later that year contributed a guest appearance on "No Complaints" by Metro Boomin, which featured Canadian rapper Drake.
The track "Taste" by Tyga, on which he made his solo debut in 2018, reached no. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and he was subsequently awarded 9× platinum by (RIAA). The same year, he appeared on Travis Scott's Hot 100 Hot 100 peaking single "Zeze" by Kodak Black. Offset, already well-established in the music industry, released his first studio album, Father of 4, on February 22, 2019. He was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for the album's first track, "Clout" (with Cardi B), while the album itself became his second to top the Billboard 200.
In October of the same year, Offset's second studio album, Set It Off (2023), was released to comparable success. The lead track, "Jealousy," which Offset and Cardi B collaborated on, peaked at 55 on the Billboard Hot 100. He had two children and a marriage with fellow rapper Cardi B until they split in late 2023.
