Kobe Vidal Crawford Jr. (August 20, 1998) is an American rapper and singer. He goes by the stage name NoCap born in Mobile, Alabama. NoCap is officially on the Never Broke Again/Atlantic Records roster. He has dropped six studio albums, one extended play, and five mixtapes since 2017.
In May 2017, NoCap released his debut extended play, "Joker. His 2018 discography started with "Legend," a hit single. The song was eventually included in NoCap's first mixtape, Neighbourhood Hero, released in July 2018. The accompanying music video has over a million views on YouTube to date.
NoCap released Rogersville, a mixtape with Rylo Rodriguez, in September 2018. On the Street Gossip mixtape, Lil Baby featured him on "Dreams 2 Reality" in November 2018.
In March 2019, CashMoneyAP released "Punching Bag," a song by NoCap. A second song, "Ghetto Angels," was released later that month. The RIAA has given "Ghetto Angels" platinum status after it received over 80 million views on YouTube.
NoCap dropped his third mixtape, The Hood Dictionary, in November 2019. The album reached number 80 on the Billboard 200 and featured features by Quando Rondo, Lil Durk, and Jagged Edge.
Singles from the album, such as "Vaccine," "Very Special," and "I'll Be Here," were released on April 29, 2022. The album itself consists of 21 tracks. It sold 29,000 copies in its first week, putting it at number 8 on the Billboard 200 and making it his most successful album.
