Noa Wildschut Information
Noa Wildschut (March 9, 2001) is a Dutch concert violinist. She is the daughter of Arjan Wildschut, a violinist in the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest. Her mother, Liora Ish-Hurwitz, is also a piano teacher, and she even taught Wildschut her first violin lessons. She played first at Kinder Prinsengrachtconcert in 2007 while she was six years old. Wildschut went to the Sweelinck Academie to study for young talent of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Coosje Wijzenbeek from 2008. Wizjenbeek also let Wildschut perform as an ensemble member and a soloist with the youth orchestra Fancy Fiddlers.
Wildschut has performed in many music festivals. She has played with notable names such as Jevgeni Kissin (2010) and Paolo Giacometti (2009). At the time, she also received a scholarship from the VandenEnde Foundation. Wildschut won the first prize in the “14 years and younger” in 2010 from the International Louis Spohr-Wettbewerb in Weimar. She has also played alongside Janine Jansen at the International Kamermuziek Festival Utrecht. She won the first prize at the Concours of the lordens vlootdagen for her age category. The Royal Conservatory of The Hague hosted it. Wildschut also performed “Night of the Promising” in the Koninklijk Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and there she won the Young Talent Award.
