NLE Choppa Information
Bryson LaShun Potts (November 1, 2002) is an American rapper born in Memphis, Tennessee. He goes by the stage name NLE Choppa. His 2019 single "Shotta Flow" became a smash hit, reaching the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning a platinum certification from the RIAA.
Cottonwood, Choppa's first extended play, was released on December 20, 2019. The EP, named after the neighborhood he grew up in, includes the songs "Side" and "Shotta Flow," as well as a remix of "Shotta Flow" that features Blueface. A duet with Meek Mill is also included on the EP. There was also a short film of the same name released on the same day as Cottonwood.
In August 2020, Choppa released his first full-length studio album, Top Shotta. It reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200 chart and featured the top 40 hits "Camelot" and "Walk Em Down" (with Roddy Ricch).
Choppa tweeted about "Shotta Flow 6" and "Walk Em Down 2," featuring Lil Durk, coming out in February 2021. His fifth mixtape, Me vs. Me, was released on January 28, 2022. It has 16 songs and features Young Thug, Polo G, G Herbo, and Moneybagg Yo as special guests. A music video for "Shotta Flow 6" premiered on the internet on January 28, 2022. It is the seventh single by Me Vs. It is the sixth episode in the "Shotta Flow" series.
