Nik Greeley is an American performer. He is considered arguably the best frontman and a performer in Philadelphia. It’s not so long that Greeley has been putting efforts into making his career. Still, all he has gained today is just an effort of some of his recent hardworking years in which he established himself as one of the most hardworking yet entertaining musicians in his area. He is often compared to Jim Morrison, Joe Cocker, and James Brown.
In Spring 2015, Greeley released his solo debut EP entitled Town Gypsy. He also performed live sessions and received airplay on radio stations, including 95.9 WRAT, 93.7 WSTW, 93.3 WMMR, 88.5 WXPN, and Radio 104.5. He is also known for playing as a member and singer in Philly punk band Swift Technique. He shares lead vocal duties along with Chelsea ViaCava, his female counterpart. The ST members Ian Gray and Greg Rosen also play in The Operators.
Throughout his career, Greeley has been honored to open acts for notable artists such as Rusted Root, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Rebirth Brass Band, Moon Hooch, Bernie Worrell (P-Funk, Talking Heads), Fishbone, Shuggie Otis, Gene Ween (Ween) Robert Randolph & The Family Band, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and several others.
