Megadeth Information
Megadeth is a well-known heavy metal band that originated from California's Los Angeles. In 1983, Dave Mustaine (of the band Metallica) and David Ellefson (of the band Slayer) formed this heavy metal band. The current lineup features Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, Kiko Loureiro, and Dirk Verbeuren. The band's mascot, Vic Rattlehead, may be seen at every concert and on every album cover.
Megadeth's first albums, "Killing Is My Business..." and "And Business Is Good!" were released in 1985. On tour in 1987, Megadeth served as the support act. The band then embarked on a 72-week, first-ever headline global tour of the United Kingdom immediately after this one.
Megadeth has sold about 38 million records worldwide, with six of their fifteen albums certified platinum in the United States. After receiving twelve nominations, the band won the Best Metal Performance Grammy for "Dystopia" in 2017.
Megadeth's later hits include The World Needs a Hero (2001), The System Has Failed (2004), United Abominations (2007), Endgame (2009), Thirteen (2011), Super Collider (2013), and Dystopia (2016).
The debut single "We'll Be Back" and album track listing were published on June 23, 2022, after multiple teases, followed by "Night Stalkers" on July 22 and "Soldier On!" on August 12, 2022.
