Christopher Brendan Ward IV is an American writer, comedian, voice actor, and rapper. He was born in Libertyville, Illinois. He is professionally known by his stage name, MC Chris. On Adult Swim's Williams Street Studios' Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Ward has appeared, worked behind the scenes, and provided original lyrics. He worked as a production helper and played the roles of MC Pee Pants (in "MC Pee Pants"), Sir Loin (in "The Last One"), Little Brittle (in "Little Brittle"), and young Carl (18).
In the theatrical release of Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Colon Movie Film and in the PlayStation 2 game Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am, he reprised the character of MC Pee Pants. Ward contributed to Sealab 2021 in several ways, including as a writer, as the recurring character Hesh Hepplewhite, and as the twins who portray Dolphin Boy in an episode that takes viewers behind the scenes. Ward's first band was called The Lee Majors.
Although he is one of the most well-known artists in the nerdcore subgenre, he was initially resistant to the term, describing his music as "a genre in and of itself" and voicing reservations about catering solely to a niche audience or focusing on a specific set of themes. As a representative of the geek community, he has been featured in media coverage of nerd music and subculture.
