Matteo Bocelli (October 8, 1997), Andrea's second son, was born in the Tuscany coastal hamlet of Forte dei Marmi. He quickly became a major star in the classical crossover field. The Bocellis have a residence in both Italy and Miami, Florida.
Matteo Bocelli's career has risen since he debuted on the track "Fall On Me" alongside his father in 2018. In December of the same year, he performed at the Royal Variety Performance for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Along with his father and younger sister, Virginia Bocelli, the 25-year-old vocalist recorded a Christmas CD in 2022.
Matteo Bocelli's 2018 duet with his dad, "Fall On Me," was used in the closing credits of Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. In 2022, Matteo made his film debut in Three Thousand Years of Longing, co-starring with Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton. In addition to playing the Ottoman prince Mustapha, he also recorded a song called "Cautionary Tale" with Dutch composer Tom Holkenborg, a.k.a. Junkie XL, to coincide with the film's premiere.
Matteo Bocelli confirmed his self-titled first album's release date as September 22. The announcement was made in June 2023. Matteo called it a pop record but admits that his classical training is still very much at play.
In 2023, Matteo released new music and toured the world to promote it. The tour arrived in Berlin on September 30 and took him all across Europe and the US before ending in Dubai on December 21.
