Anthony Henderson (June 17, 1973) is an American singer, producer, rapper, and entrepreneur. He is professionally known as Krayzie Bone. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1999, Krayzie Bone released his first solo album, Thug Mentality 1999, following the popularity of his time with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Multiple artists, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Mo Thugs, Mariah Carey, ThugLine, The Marley Brothers, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Cuban Link, Gangsta Boo, E-40, 8 Ball & MJG, Kurupt, Naughty by Nature, and Snoop Dogg, made cameos on the album, which was released as a two-disc set.
Romeo Antonio, a multi-instrumentalist, played a major role in producing the album. The RIAA has awarded platinum status to the album. Krayzie's 2001 album Thug On Da Line was well-received by critics and ultimately certified gold. The Chamillionaire song "Ridin'" featured Krayzie Bone in 2005. The 49th Annual Grammy Awards recognized "Ridin'" with the "Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group" trophy. It also received Best Rap Song nominations. Three months after its physical release, it topped the Piczo Chart in December.
When released in the UK, the song reached number two on the Singles Chart and number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Rolling Stone's "100 Best Songs of 2006" was listed at #3, while VH1's "100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop" was ranked at #91. The RIAA recognized him as the first multi-platinum Mastertone artist after selling over three million ringtone copies in 2006.
