KK's Priest is a heavy metal band formed by former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing. The band was formed in 2020 with Tim 'Ripper' Owens, who was Judas Priest's vocalist in the late 1990s and early 2000s. With powerful riffs, soaring vocals, and lots and lots of aggressive energy, KK's Priest keeps the classic heavy metal sound alive.
After a years-long hiatus, KK's Priest is back with a second release (The Sinner Rides Again comes out in late 2023) and shows no sign of slowing down. The songs on this album are dynamic, keeping in mind their spirit of classic heavy metal, with fresh, modern touches making it a positive album. They've named tracks such as "One More Shot at Glory" and "Reap the Whirlwind" as terrifically bracing, charging guitar moments and powerfully sung by Owens.
In preparation for their 2024 tour, KK's Priest is readying themselves to play new songs and classic Judas Priest hits, giving longtime fans much to look forward to. Expect electrifying live performances with nostalgia and excitement for what is to come.
