George Kusunoki Miller Kusunoki (September 18, 1992), best known professionally as Joji, is a Japanese singer-songwriter, rapper, and online celebrity. Previously, he was recognized for portraying the roles of Filthy Frank and Pink Guy. R&B, lo-fi, and trip-hop described how Miller's music may be best defined.
Joji gained fame for portraying offbeat characters on humor channels, which led to the creation of The Filthy Frank Show on YouTube in 2011. This took place only a short time after Miller moved to the US. The channels, which contained comedic hip-hop, rants, extreme challenges, and ukulele and dance performances, became popular due to their content's shocking humor and prolific virality.
The Harlem Shake became more well-known due to Miller's videos, which in turn helped contribute to the commercial success of Baauer's song of the same name, which led to the creation of memes and collaborations with other YouTube creators.
Between 2014 and 2017, Joji produced two comedy studio albums under the alias Pink Guy and one extended play. In 2018, he published his first studio album, which was titled Ballads 1, and it contained the track "Slow Dancing in the Dark."
The singles "Sanctuary" and "Run" were both taken from his second album, which was titled Nectar (2020). His highest-charting song, "Glimpse of Us," which he released in 2022 and peaked in the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100, was included on his third studio album, Smithereens (2022), later that same year.
