Abdul Jeleel Yussuf (October 14, 1995) is an American record producer, rapper, and singer. He is professionally known by his stage name, Jeleel. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He has Nigerian ancestry. He went to Loyola University Maryland after finishing at La Salle Academy in Providence. While still a college student, Jeleel published his debut single, Play Me, which has since been removed from all streaming services. Angel From Heaven is Jeleel's 2019 album. His long-time player, Generation Z, came out in 2020.
After his 2021 single "Dive In!" went viral on TikTok and other social media platforms and was streamed over 50 million times on Spotify, Jeleel partnered with record label 10K Projects. Jeleel dropped a song called "Rain On You!" in April 2022. His joint project with rapper Mike Dimes, dubbed Clubhouse!, was released in June 2022.
He dropped the song "Uncivilized! (Go!)" in July 2022. The song "Stone Cold!" was his August 2022 single release. At the Made in America Festival in September 2022, he performed. His single "Deliver!" came out in September 2022 as well. Jeleel released a song in January 2023 named "Ride The Wave!" The music video was recorded in Nigeria.
