Jack Harlow Information
Jackman Thomas Harlow (March 13, 1998) is an American rapper, singer, and actor born in Louisville, Kentucky. Several organizations have nominated him for awards, including the 2021 Billboard Music Awards' Top New Artist category. He was also recognized on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list and Variety's "Hitmaker of the Year" that year.
With the release of his track "What's Poppin" in 2020, Harlow had his first huge breakthrough. The song's success on TikTok helped propel it to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 and a Grammy Award nomination after a remix including DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne.
Following his inclusion in XXL magazine's "2020 Freshman Class" and the release of his platinum-certified US first studio album, That What They All Say (2020), Harlow entered the music industry. The Hot 100 single "Industry Baby," which Harlow co-wrote with Lil Nas X and released in 2021, was Harlow's first single to hit number one.
"First Class," the lead single from Harlow's 2022 album Come Home the Kids Miss You, earned his second Hot 100 number one and first to debut at the top of the chart. The album was published the same year.
Jackman, Harlow's third studio album, was announced, along with its release date and cover art, on April 26, 2023, on his social media profiles. On April 28, the album was made public. With 35,500 album-equivalent units (including 1,500 pure sales) in its first week of release, it peaked at number eight on the US Billboard 200. For Harlow, it was her third chart debut in the top ten.
