It's the beginning of the age of digital magic, and in this new epoch, technology seems to surge in song, congealing in a cacophony of buzzes, beeps, and blips. A harmonious collage of machine hum and the hammering of concrete and steel drives our environment. J.WAIL and a Special Guest Live Band answer the aural traffic controller's summons, waiting behind various electronic equipment, guitar, bass, keys, live drums, and percussion.
When live instruments are combined with organic electronic music, the dance floor becomes a launch pad from which the listener's mind, soul, and booty are propelled into a joyful ball of happiness. J.WAIL's tours have clocked up endless miles, with the band playing hundreds of club/theater concerts and festival appearances across the continent.
J.WAIL has worked with many well-known musicians thanks to his willingness to try new things and improvise, including Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon, members of Lotus, David Murphy (STS9), Michael Travis, and Jason Hann (EOTO/String Cheese Incident), Dean Ween (Ween), Brock Butler (Perpetual Groove), and many more. When J.WAIL's signature sounds and methods are combined with those of the Live Band, the result is an infectious blend of live electro-funk that will have the crowd buzzing till the next performance.
