Infected Rain Information
Infected Rain is a Moldovan metal band. The current group comprises Vadim "Vidick" Ozhog, Vladimir Babich, Sergey Babich, Eugen Voluta, and Elena "Lena Scissorhands" Cataraga. Guitarist Vadim "Vidick" Ozhog, lead singer Elena Cataraga a.k.a. Lena Scissorhands, and DJ Ivan "DJ Kapa" Kristioglo created the band in 2008. In August of 2008, they made their first appearance at a show devoted to the band Slayer. A month later, Infected Rain performed three songs on their first demo CD at the Red Alert heavy metal festival in Crimea ("With Me," "Parasite," and "No Idols"). The band has also performed several concerts in the Ukrainian capital of Chi?inau.
Red Alert (2008), Metal Heads' Mission (2009), RockHausen (2008/2009), Fuckin'FuckFest 3 (2009), Big Up! Urban Fest (2009) (where they placed second) and Forest Kap (2009/2010) were just a few of the heavy metal festivals that Infected Rain performed at. Its six tracks were published as the "P2009" in the summer of 2009. (Judgmental Trap, Panika, No More, Escape, Go Away, and Homeless). Infected Rain developed its sound using screamed female vocals, heavy guitars, and electronic samples. The group's debut music video for the "Judgemental Trap" track was shot in the winter of 2010. The band then performed several gigs around Moldova and Romania.
