IMx - Immature Information
IMx, which is also known as Immature, is an American R&B boy band that is managed by record producer Chris Stokes. The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1990 by Don “Half-Pint” Santos, Marques “Batman” Houston, and Jerome “Romeo” Jones. In 1994, Kelton “LDB” Kessee (drummer) replaced Santos due to his parents who pulled him out from the group.
The group released their debut album On September 22, 1992, entitled “On Our Worst Behavior.” It featured singles “Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior)” and “I Wanna Know U That Way.” The album failed to reach anywhere onto the Billboard’s chart, but one of its songs “Tear It Up (On Our Worst Behavior) made through Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, on number 39 spot.
Their second album Playtime Is Over was released on August 2, 1994, featuring singles “Constantly,” “I Don’t Mind,” and “Never Lie.” The album hit the number 88 spot on the Billboard 200 and reached the number 26 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums of Billboard.
The IMx released its third album “We Got It” in 1995 featuring singles “Lover’s Groove,” “Please Don’t Do,” and “We Got It.” The last one peaked at number 76 on the Billboard 200 in the United States as well as reached number 14 on the Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. They kept releasing more albums, including The Journey in 1997, Introducing IMx in 1999, IMx in 2001, and Remember (EP Album) in 2015.
In September 2019, the group announced #TBTour with some special guests named J. Holiday and Ray J. B5.
