Imperial Triumphant Information
Imperial Triumphant is an experimental metal band formed. It was formed in New York City in 2005. The current lineup consists of Steve Blanco (bass, vocals, and keyboards), Kenny Grohowski (drums), and Zachary Ilya Ezrin (vocals and guitars). Imperial Triumphant's second album was released in March 2015, titled Abyssal Gods. "Abyssal Gods is overall a genuinely wicked act of sacrilege packed with more unforgettable moments than many bands gather in a lifetime of albums," says Austin Weber of No Clean Singing. Imperial Triumphant released Inceste in March 2016 to their second album.
Imperial Triumphant embarked on their first European tour in 2019, which included a performance at Roadburn Festival, following their studio album Vile Luxury. In November 2019, he returned to Europe for more shows, including headlining the 'Cult Never Dies Stage' at Damnation Festival in Leeds, UK.
Imperial Triumphant announced in October 2019 that they had signed with Century Media Records and will be releasing new music in 2020. Following that, the band stated on Instagram that they had started tracking on December 10th at Colin Marston's Menegroth Studios in New York.
Imperial Triumphant revealed on Instagram in April 2020 that their new album, Alphaville, would be released on July 21, 2020. Along with the announcement, Metal Injection released a documentary movie revealing behind-the-scenes work on Alphaville and guest artists that collaborated, including Meshuggah's Tomas Haake, longstanding collaborator Colin Marston, and Mr. Bungle's Trey Spruance.
