Hinder Information
Hinder is a rock band from Oklahoma City. It was created in 2001 by former lead vocalist Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson. Bassist Mike Rodden and guitarist Mark King joined in 2003 to complete the lineup.
Extreme Behavior (2005) peaked at No. 2 on the Rock Albums list, No. 6 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on the Australian ARIA charts. Additionally, earning Platinum Certifications from the RIAA, ARIA, and MC is the album. Their next record, Take It to the Limit, peaked at 4 on the Billboard 200 and earned an RIAA Gold Certification.
The group has put two EPs, more than six studio albums, and over twenty singles. Among their most often listened to tracks are "Get Stoned," "Better Than Me," and "Lips of an Angel." Including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Austria, the latter of the three ended up dominating song charts all around. On the Billboard Hot 100, the track likewise peaked at No. 3. Traveling with other well-known alternative music bands like 3 Doors Down, Theory of a Deadman, and Nonpoint often reveals drawbacks.
