Hellyeah Information
Hellyeah is an American heavy metal supergroup that was formed in the year 2006 in Dallas, Texas. The name of the band is often stylized as HELLYEAH. The current group members include guitarists Tom Maxwell and Christian Brady, lead vocalist Chad Gray, drummer Roy Mayorga, and bassist Kyle Sanders. The music of Hellyeah is often described as groove metal, as well as heavy metal. The actual beginning of the group takes us back to the year 2000 on the Tattoo the Earth tour.
Hellyeah began releasing music officially in 2007. The first print publication that featured this supergroup was Revolver. "Hellyeah" (April 10, 2007) was the featured self-titled single, which was accompanied by "You Wouldn't Know." Both of these singles hit heights with the second one hitting number 5 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. A few of the other notable releases by Hellyeah are; Stampede 2010, Band of Brothers 2012, Blood for Blood 2014, Unden!able 2016, and Welcome Home 2019.
In total, Hellyeah has released 6 Studio Albums, 1 Video Album, 19 Music Videos, 15 hit singles, and 8 Promotional singles. A few of the hit singles by the supergroup are "Alcohaulin' Ass," "Drink Drank Drunk," "Sangre por Sangre (Blood for Blood)," "Cross to Bier (Cradle of Bones)," "Love Falls," and a few more.
Hellyeah was nominated five times in Loudwire Music Awards for the categories of Best Rock Album, Song, Band, Video, and Drummer in 2014, 2015, and 2017, respectively.
