Stjepan Hauser (June 15, 1986) is a Croatian cellist who goes by the stage name HAUSER. Along with Luka Šulic, he was a member of 2CELLOS and still performs alone. It was in Pula, Croatia, where Hauser's musical training began. He was born into a musical family. His mum is a percussionist, and the Pula-based journalist is his sister.
Hauser became widely known in 2011 as one-half of the cello duo 2Cellos, alongside Luka Šulic. Their cover of Michael Jackson’s "Smooth Criminal" went viral online, helping to launch their career.
