Radric Delantic Davis (February 12, 1980) is an American record executive and rapper. He is professionally known by his stage name, Gunni Mane born in Bessemer, Alabama. Gucci Mane has been active in the music industry since 2001, releasing 16 studio albums and 71 mixtapes. In 2007, he established 1017 Records, an imprint label distributed by Atlantic Records that has since signed Young Thug, Waka Flocka Flame, Chief Keef, and Pooh Shiesty, among others.
Gucci Mane dropped the 24-song So Icy Summer album on July 3, 2020. It was his first work of 2020, following 2019's East Atlanta Santa 3. On July 30, he released "Muwop" alongside rapper Mulatto, a parody of his name "Guwop." Gucci Mane released So Icy Gang Vol. 1 on October 16, 2020, a day before October 17, 2020, under his label 1017 Records. The album is credited to Gucci Mane & The New 1017, suggesting it features new members of the label.
This rapper released a song and video titled "Letter to Takeoff" on November 15, 2022, and it was all about the rapper Takeoff. In 2019, Davis started collaborating with Italian fashion label Gucci. Davis got married and got in better shape throughout the years before Gucci announced he became the face of their Gucci Cruise 2020 Campaign.
