Greyboy Information
DJ Greyboy is an American acid jazz DJ from San Diego, California, and currently lives in Long Beach, California. He began his career as a musician and is one of the most famous musicians among the age-old group. Greyboy was the partner of Rob Dyrek in Crime on the Turntables during the early years of his career. His music incorporates different genres such as experimental, funk, soul, hip hop, and acid jazz rare grooves. Greyboy has released numerous tracks on compilations. He is also one of the founders and namesake of The Greyboy Allstars. He founded his record label in 2009 called Soundlock Recordings.
Greyboy also founded a turntable band called Warchurch. The group included other musicians such as Opie Ortiz, Mike Long, Tycoon, Erick Coomes, DJ Truly Odd, and Delmos Wade. He released a co-produced album along with Delmos Wade in 2010, entitled, From the Ground Up. He also collaborated with a rock group, Incubus, on their track entitled "Familiar." The track was featured on the soundtrack of the film called, Spawn.
Notable singles of the DJ Greyboy include "Panacea," "Unwind Your Mind," "Singles Party," and "To Know Is to Love You."
